THE 5IVE: HOW IT WORKS

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to The 5IVE, an exciting initiative designed to spotlight creative talent within the 30BG community. This competition celebrates choreographers, content creators, cover artists, skit makers, media professionals, and visual artists who bring Davido's new album, 5ive, to life in new and unexpected ways.

Whether you're creating dance routines, stunning visual art, or passionately sharing Davido's latest album with your followers, we see you & we value you. The 5IVE provides a platform to showcase your talents, join a community of like-minded artists, gain valuable exposure, and potentially catch the attention of those shaping the culture.

ELIGIBILITY

The 5IVE welcomes content creators worldwide who are the original creators of their submitted work. Participants must maintain public social media accounts on all platforms where content is posted throughout the program period. #The5iveCreators is the designated hashtag for the season! You must include this hashtag in your submissions to ensure that we can verify the ownership of your content during our review process.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Register on our official website with your personal details
Create your original content featuring songs from Davido's latest album, 5ive
Submit each content piece through the official submission form on our website

For each submission, you'll need to provide information on the type of content posted, Direct link to your posted content, Engagement metrics (views, likes, comments, shares), and a Brief description of your content.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

Daily submissions close at 12:00 AM (midnight) GMT+1/WAT. Weekly leaderboard updates will be posted every Friday at 5:00 PM GMT+1/WAT. Select submissions will be highlighted daily on our website. Late submissions will count toward the following day's consideration.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONTENT GUIDELINES

Your content must meet basic technical standards: minimum 720p video resolution, clear audio quality, and viewability on standard devices without specialized software. Content with poor technical quality may receive reduced points or face rejection.

The program prohibits content that violates copyright, contains offensive material, has been previously submitted, comes from private accounts, or is not created by the submitter.

HOW POINTS ARE AWARDED

Your submissions are evaluated through a combination of:

Base Quality: Original content creation featuring songs from Davido's latest album,
5ive Engagement: Consideration of views, likes, comments, and shares
Consistency: Value placed on regular contributions throughout the season
Innovation: Special recognition for especially creative or trend-setting content
Collaboration: Appreciation for team submissions with proper tagging

HIGHLIGHT & LEADERBOARD STRUCTURE

Daily highlights will showcase selected submissions on our website. The weekly leaderboard will feature the top 10 submissions each week, updating every Friday at 5:00 PM GMT+1/WAT.

SELECTION PROCESS

The top 10 creators each week receive special recognition and automatically qualify for consideration in the final selection. At the season's end, outstanding creators throughout the program will be considered for potential collaboration opportunities with Davido and his team. Special recognition for "Davido's Choice" may be awarded to content personally selected by Davido.

PROHIBITED ACTIONS

Participants may face disqualification for submitting unoriginal content, artificially inflating engagement metrics, using multiple accounts for the same content, submitting duplicate content, harassing other participants, or providing false information during registration.

Our team verifies all submissions for authenticity, with suspicious activity flagged for review. This list is not exhaustive, and any foul play discovered throughout the season constitutes grounds for disqualification.

PRIVACY AND CONTENT OWNERSHIP

By submitting content, you grant permission for it to be featured on our website and social media channels, with your username displayed on the leaderboard and in featured content. While you retain ownership of your original content, participation grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for promotional purposes related to this program.
